Abstract: When conducting in-pipe diagnostics of main pipelines, it is possible to find pipe sections whose curvature exceeds the required standard values. Non-normative bending of the pipe sections leads to operation of the pipeline in increased stress-strain state that does not meet the requirements of regulatory documents. In case of detection of a section with non-normative curvature, repairs shall be performed in order to bring it to the normative state. In this case, a method that does not involve cutting of the pipeline is a priority. For development of the pipeline repair project and forecasting of the stress-strain state during repair and subsequent operation, it is necessary to create design schemes that consider the actual operating conditions of the pipeline, in-line diagnostics data and the reasons for the section non-normative curvature formation.
This article proposes an algorithm for development of design schemes that describe the actual curvature of pipeline sections prior to repair, during repair and after its completion. The method is based on a set of parameters for design schemes, which makes it possible to obtain the alignment of calculated curvature diagram and the pipeline section curvature diagram according to the data of in-line diagnostics. The article has design schemes for various cases of non-normative curvature formation, developed with due consideration of the actual data of in-tube diagnostics.
