Oil product losses rationing in the airport fuel supply system

Abstract: The types of technological losses of fuel at the fuel supply facilities of airports that are not taken into account by the standards of technological losses are considered. As a result of the instrumental measurements, non-normative losses are identified and classified: 1) technological losses from service tanks during the realization fuels and lubricants from fuel supply storages; 2) technological losses while filling fuel tankers; 3) technological losses in the form of micro spills during disconnection of the unloading and loading devices after the unloading and loading operations; 4) technological losses when drainage and washing with fuel of tanks, hydrant systems, refueling facilities and storage infrastructure; 5) technological losses during sampling, density (temperature) measurement in the process of fuel quality control; 6) technological losses when replacing filters; 7) technological losses during maintenance and repair.
Analytical dependences are given for determining the value of fuel losses when tank back breathing, filling fuel tankers, micro spills, and during drainage of various systems, structures and equipment with aviation fuel. The possibility and expediency of applying the research results at the oil and oil products transportation facilities are considered.
